Case Study #1
A large pharmaceutical sponsor conducted a randomized, open label, blinded-endpoint parallel group study to investigate if a particular drug has a lower incident of GI Events than other similar drugs in subjects with osteoarthritis.
Goal: Retrieve patient contact information from each site, locate the current contact information and return it to the site.
Total LTFU Subjects: 443
Number of Sites: 208Result: OmniTrace was successful in locating 91% of all LTFU patients.
Case Study #2
A medium sized pharmaceutical firm conducted a 56 week phase III trial to access the safety and efficiency of an obesity treatment program.
Goal: Retrieve patient contact information from each site, locate the current contact information and return it to the site. If a patient was deceased we were to provide their date of death and the resource of such data. Additionally, we were to attempt to obtain a death certificate for each subject. If the subject was alive, we were to provide the most recent “alive as of” date.
Total Subjects: 416
Number of sites: 87Result: OmniTrace successfully determined the vital status for 99% of the subjects provided.
Case Study #3
A leading university research hospital conducted a small endocrinology study across a limited group of subjects.
Goal: Work directly with hospital study coordinator to receive patient information, update the information and return directly to the coordinator.
Total Subjects: 47
Results: OmniTrace successfully located 44 of the 47 subjects.
Case Study #4
A large European based pharmaceutical firm conducted a parallel, randomized, controlled evaluation cardiovascular study throughout sites in 27 different countries.
Goal: Utilizing our multi-lingual capabilities, OmniTrace was to retrieve subject information directly from the sites and return updated address and contact information.
Total Subjects: 113
Number of Sites: 67Result: OmniTrace successfully located 91% of US patients and 57% of international subjects. All work was conducted from OmniTrace’s office in the USA. No local investigators or independent contractors were utilized, which safeguards patient confidentiality.
